Montis Mooring & Boat Service BV, established in 1996, provides lock assistance, mooring and other services in the Port of Terneuzen.

The company is based in a modern office next to the sea locks and employs 15 skilled staff. Services are available 24 hours a day.

Montis operates a fleet of four powerful motor boats, specially designed for mooring services and manned by qualified boatmen.

In addition to mooring boats, Montis operates a 36 metre supply vessel, with refrigerated and deep freeze capacity for ship's stores, plus a 14 metre tender for personnel transport.

Montis ferries all kinds of personnel to and from vessels in Terneuzen and Flushing, including agents, immigration officers, pilots and ship's crew, as well as transporting engine parts, stores and supplies.

She also provides qualified helmsmen to steer vessels in the river Scheldt and on the Ghent-Terneuzen Canal.

The company is awarded with the Safety Certificate (VCA*) issued by Bureau Veritas Quality International (BVQI) and ISO 9001:2008 certificate issued by BSI Management Systems. She also meets the requirements of the Port Authorities.

All her vessels are approved by the Dutch Shipping Inspectorate.
